If your office suddenly moves out of your neighbourhood to a place so distant that it makes u wake up at 8am even if u slept at 2.30 in the night, gives u more than an hours ride on the bus, provides u with the joy of walking, riding a bus, and even a rickshaw (wish i could include local train here as well:P) in just a one-way trip, and above all it gives you a round-trip of mumbai - trust me its worse than what it sounds like;)

the only good thing - i get more than 2 hours every day to listen to music and may be, who knows, i might start reading as well:P

Few tips on report writing

- If its 11.30am, never think that u can start writing the report in the afternoon after your lunch. This never works.

- Write your report only when the deadline is nearing b'coz if u try your hand on it way before, u'll just endup watching a movie:)

- A break of 5min from report writing is not possible even theoritically. Breaks atleast involve mail checking, orkuting, few music videos, and if the dealing is not near..even a movie.

- Google, ctrl+C and ctrl+V are the essential ingredients for instant report writing.

- Lastly, neverever think of writing a blog while in the middle of the report writing;)

I think i should go back to writing my report, the deadline is nearing;)

last night during a session of picto, one of our great n creativite friend drew this "artform" and then three great minds, jas samir and myself, were left absolutely speechless! and just to mention, rai is the creative one who came up with this great depiction of the movie!

Yaaron!

For long i have yearned for this day when college gets over! But now when this time is nearing, a weird feeling is creeping in me. A feeling i can't put in words.

mom's vada pav in hyderabadi kingfisher!

Kingfisher...i need to travel by it soon!! have heard about it so much that just can't wait for my next trip to b'lore. With personalized video screens, comfort n the service (u know what i mean...right?:P), just can't resist it!!

oh yea, last weekend in hyderabad, i finally worked on my ddp:D...Don't laugh at me when i say that i didn't have biryani there:( i know...a mistake but i forgot:(...although the eatstreet along the hussain sagar lake was pretty nice:)...well built place with hell lot of eating outlets.

Prakash was here and he didn't want to miss on vada pavs (as i did in hyderabad:P) but somehow he didn't seem to like the concept of vada pav...though i fail to understand why;)!

Anyways, these days the MUTP (mumbai urban transport project) is in full swing...with roads being dug all over n concrete being poured in at the fastest pace possible! Every second day i find a new operational concrete road...in powai, near seepz, in malad..these people are working their heart out! I just hope this wave doesn't die down n mumbai keeps getting closer to shanghai everyday:)

btw, nothing good happens after 2am. So i should better go and sleep:D (from How i met your mom!)

Alas! my MB gets a use

So you need to buy a PC n u decide to get a 2.4GHz Hyper Threading (HT) enabled Intel Processor with 865GBF Motherboard which has Serial & parallel ATA interface, 4 GB system memory support, n what not!. You get it n then everybody around you keeps cribbing on this mega configuration not being used at all n it being a mere waste of money. But 3 years later comes the day when a guy in the hostel has a 160GB Serial ATA (SATA) hard disk n only this very PC has SATA support! Alas, my MB gets a use;)

Currently, 3 hard disks are connected to my PC, each of which communicate through a different channel. 1st one is a 40GB usual IDE disk, 2nd is a 160GB SATA disk n the 3rd one is a 160GB USB disk. The reason for all this is to transfer the huge amount (almost 100GB)of songs on the USB disk to the SATA disk. Wow! what a great collection of music:) From Classical to Country to All sorts of rock to Instrumental to OSTs to Fusion to Hindi music...Its heaven!
