mom's vada pav in hyderabadi kingfisher!

Kingfisher...i need to travel by it soon!! have heard about it so much that just can't wait for my next trip to b'lore. With personalized video screens, comfort n the service (u know what i mean...right?:P), just can't resist it!!

oh yea, last weekend in hyderabad, i finally worked on my ddp:D...Don't laugh at me when i say that i didn't have biryani there:( i know...a mistake but i forgot:(...although the eatstreet along the hussain sagar lake was pretty nice:)...well built place with hell lot of eating outlets.

Prakash was here and he didn't want to miss on vada pavs (as i did in hyderabad:P) but somehow he didn't seem to like the concept of vada pav...though i fail to understand why;)!

Anyways, these days the MUTP (mumbai urban transport project) is in full swing...with roads being dug all over n concrete being poured in at the fastest pace possible! Every second day i find a new operational concrete road...in powai, near seepz, in malad..these people are working their heart out! I just hope this wave doesn't die down n mumbai keeps getting closer to shanghai everyday:)

btw, nothing good happens after 2am. So i should better go and sleep:D (from How i met your mom!)

Alas! my MB gets a use

So you need to buy a PC n u decide to get a 2.4GHz Hyper Threading (HT) enabled Intel Processor with 865GBF Motherboard which has Serial & parallel ATA interface, 4 GB system memory support, n what not!. You get it n then everybody around you keeps cribbing on this mega configuration not being used at all n it being a mere waste of money. But 3 years later comes the day when a guy in the hostel has a 160GB Serial ATA (SATA) hard disk n only this very PC has SATA support! Alas, my MB gets a use;)

Currently, 3 hard disks are connected to my PC, each of which communicate through a different channel. 1st one is a 40GB usual IDE disk, 2nd is a 160GB SATA disk n the 3rd one is a 160GB USB disk. The reason for all this is to transfer the huge amount (almost 100GB)of songs on the USB disk to the SATA disk. Wow! what a great collection of music:) From Classical to Country to All sorts of rock to Instrumental to OSTs to Fusion to Hindi music...Its heaven!

A long vacation!

finally i'm back in bombay:)...had been at home for quite a long time...10 days!! n did nothing else than sleeping...oh n yea orkuting:P!!
if i look back i wonder myself how i logged on orkut atleast 15 times a day. n something unusual, i was scoulded for being awake n orkuting latenights not by my folks at home but by my friends in bombay! btw, before going home, i had made enormous plans for the trip...i had thought of reading 'The world is flat' n another book on videos, had thought would wrap up all formalities for license (now this i have been trying to do for last 4 years:(( ) n had thought of working on my final year project:D..but trust me on this...the 2 books were not even taken out of my bag, i didn't even meet the agent for license and the ddp code...haha...just forget it!!

but there is one thing i missed on during these days....the valfis (valediction functions) of my juniors! fortunately i shall attend h4 valfi..m happy about that:)!

oh yea..i liked the developments going on at bhopal! ccd n barista have come up right next to abh (local bakery n coffee shop, n mind u they are giving abh a real hard time;) ), have even heard of multiplexes n malls opening up, though m not sure if its true;), there is now a 24 hour food court at the railway station n something that really impressed me was i guess for the first time i could see operational traffic signals at various places:P

but no matter what, i love Bhopal anyways..
take care
